Welcome!

HI There!! I am so excited that you are here reading this.

First, thank you for taking the time to visit my new blog that is dedicated to holistic wellness and living more intentionally and naturally.

My name is Hind (pronounced like wind or Hind in “Hinder”), I was born and raised in Saudi Arabia but spent the last 11 years of my life here in the United States. I lived in Washington State for the majority of that time before settling in Arizona.

I started this blog for myself and other girls that are wanting to understand how to make healthier decisions for our minds, bodies and spirits. Unfortunately our society has failed us deeply when it comes to taking care of ourselves and most of us or a lot of us are walking around so confused and blind to the things that are hurting our health or our minds and slowly poisoning us.

Like we all have at some point in our lives, I reached a point in my life where my health was struggling and because my health was at an all time low, it affected every other area in my life. I couldn’t allow myself to continue down the same path that I was on, because I knew it would eventually kill me. There was a point where I thought if this was the end for me then what did I do to make the most of my life? Was I proud of the life I created for myself? And honestly, I felt so much regret.

The amount of times I told myself “life is too short, might as well enjoy it while I can” while I did stupid things should be a crime. While yes, lie is too short and you should enjoy it but would you rather have a short miserable life or a short happy life. I choose the latter and I hope you do too. Only you know what is best for you! I spent so much of my life allowing others to change me, persuade me, and steer me off the path I was on. Trust me, it is not worth it. In the end, all that matters is having your health. Without it, life is hard, it’s depressing, it feels like the end. So, while you still have it please make an active effort to do what is right for yourself. Say “No” as often as you can and get comfortable with it, you don’t need friends or people around you that are going to make you feel bad for choosing what is best for you. I am rooting for you.
